Dear Learning Community,
We hope you had a good start in a peaceful and healthy new year! We have made provisions so that it won't get boring: Look forward to a diverse openHPI course program 2019!
A New Year - A New Course!
After two workshops on Cybersecurity (in German) we will have a deeper look at Data Centers. Offerings such as Amazon Webservices (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and most web pages available on the Internet offer easy-to-use services to consumers. But what is required to deliver these services? The HPI Future Soc Lab Team will explain the various requirements necessary to deliver the service in this 2-week course. The course starts on March 6, 2019.

On March 20, learners can look forward to an online course on Design Thinking. Under the heading "Beyond Brockhaus Thinking - With Design Thinking to a Networked Culture", Prof. Uli Weinberg and Dr. Claudia Nicolai will give an introduction to the core principles of Design Thinking and inspire to actively use Design Thinking at the organizational level.

What about the User Experience on openHPI?
In 2018, we introduced a couple of new functions to openHPI which learners are now able to fully enjoy. Both in front and behind the scenes, a lot of things have changed. An external evaluation of the user experience has shown that the platform is in a good position and we have already realized many of the recommendations. We would be happy if you took some time to answer a couple of questions on your personal experience with the platform. Thank you!

Reminder: Big Annual Survey
Until January 18 our big annual MOOC survey is running (in English). A big thank you to everyone who has participated so far!
If you have not yet taken the survey, we would appreciate if you do so under the following link: https://tools.openhpi.de/survey/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=487211&newtest=Y&lang=en. With your feedback you help us to improve the openHPI courses and the platform.
